CONNECTIONS - The Rules

In this game, I shall be posting a list of variables and your task is to guess the connection.

So, for example, if a list of variables read as follows...

EXAMPLE 1
Ford

There are many things that could be. It could be a stretch of water covering a road, it could be a former US President, it could be a well known make of car, it could be anything. However... only one of these could be right - and that's the answer I'll be looking for.

So let's give you a second clue...

EXAMPLE 2
Ford
DeLorean

The number of things it could be reduces. Does DeLorean have anything to do with waterways/roads? Is there a world leader of that name? Is it a car?

You may have got this by now... but here's a third clue...

EXAMPLE 3
Ford
DeLorean
Chrysler

The correct answer is that they are all types of car.

Every so often, I'll post up a round with one clue per day until someone solves it.
The winner of each round shall receive a VCash prize, with that prize being reduced for each additional clue. Extra clues (if needed) will appear around midnight.

You are permitted a maximum of 3 guesses per day (1 per time period) at the following times...
0000 - 0759
0800 - 1559
1600 - 2359

For the purposes of this game, a day will be defined as 0000 to 2359 UK Time
