Advice needed

My computer is so slow snail mail is faster than my Email

simple sites take for ever to load open a new tab and 5 mins later it pops up open a folder and your lucky if it does anything at all

some times it runs perfect but let it sit for a few min's and everything seems to freeze

so I need to reset it or can something less drastic be done.

it all depends on how much memory you have, what processes you have running, what browser your using (IE takes ages anyway never use it) I have google chrome as primary browser cos its the quickest there is and i use firefox as secondary. If you computer has less the 1GB of memory that will cause it to be slow. If you can try and get hold of this program Auslogics, it cleans your puter of things that you dont need and speeds it up a little.
