Hearty Meatballs



Today's Easy Dish Hearty10


Serves 4


What you need

500g lean minced beef
1 small onion, very finely diced
1tsp Paprika
20g OXO Squeezy Beef Stock
1 egg, beaten
30g bread crumbs
plain flour
vegetable oil
ready made tomato sauce
non-stick frying pan

How to make it

Place all the ingredients, except the flour and oil into a large bowl and mix well.
Divide the mixture into small walnut sized balls and dust with a little flour.
Shallow fry in a little vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes over a medium to high heat, moving constantly until they are browned all over.
Add the ready prepared tomato sauce, cover and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes until the sauce is piping hot and the meatballs are cooked through.

Hints and tips
Serve with some cooked pasta
